Recently I have been remixing a track made by my friend Anders Walldén from his new very beautyful sounding album Oändligheten.
When he asked me if I wanted to do a remix for him, I was glad he had chosen this particular song for me because it’s one of my favorite songs from the album.
My thoughts with the remix were to make it even more emotional and deeper than the original.
I did this by pulling down the tempo by 20% on certain melodies and the vocalparts and added a “sad violinpad” that follows through the whole song.
To create a greater depth I built up a drone loop that escalates in the end of the song and then I could not help but to replace Anders field recordings with my own.

Among gulls, gray gooses and joggers in Pildammsparken Malmö 2012-01-08

Today I decided to take my gear and go to Pildammsparken the largest park in my hometown Malmö, consisting of large green areas, willow forest and a big pond.
The park is a popular place to exercise in. And around the pond, there is a rich bird life.
